October: LGBTQA Month
October is the national LGBTQA month in the US and we have some great events coming up to celebrate.
Friday October 10th at 8pm we received a request via AVEN to participate in a talk back panel after a performance from The Honest Accomplice Theater’s The Birds & The Bees: Unabridged. Sexuality: The Truthful. The Poignant. The Humorous. The Awkward.
Hosted at: Speyer Hall, University Settlement 184 Eldridge Street, New York NY
Monthly Hangout: Saturday October 11th, national coming out day, we will be visiting the Cloisters in the uppermost part of Manhattan to celebrate, at our usual 2pm time slot.
Asexual Awareness Week! October 26th – November 1st for 2014
Asexuality An Introduction with Aces NYC at NYU’s LGBTQ Center
Tuesday October 28th from 7-9pm, we will be having a screening of (A)sexual the movie, possibly accompanied by other media, followed by a panel discussion. The event will be at the NYU Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, room 802 and all are welcome.
There will also be a lunch time smaller group discussion for students during the regularly scheduled QUENCH series from 12:30-1:45pm.
